PRINCE2® Fast track (Foundation & Practitioner)

PRINCE2® Introduction

The PRINCE2® Full Track course covers a wide base of the PRINCE2 ® method. The course is aimed at giving students insight into the philosophy of the PRINCE2 ® method and  prepares students for the official PRINCE2 ® Foundation exam. This takes place the first three days of the course. The remaining two days will be used to prepare for and take the practitioner exam.

PRINCE2® Participants

This course is suitable for project managers, project support staff and quality assurance staff.

Also for anyone remotely involved or any participant in one or more projects.

PRINCE2® Course Description

Students will be explained how the model is set up, how the different project processes and roles are connected and how PRINCE2® handles exceptions and changes that always occur in any kind of project. During this course participants will learn how to set up a project management organisation responsible for the planning and managing of a project. Participants will be taught how to define different project management roles to be assured that the project will be executed most effectively and efficiently. The "management by exception”  method will play a key role in handling project issues.

The practitioner part will focus on gaining insight and students will be triggered to see how the methodology is used in a simulated project environment. It will also analyze whether the correct methodology was used, and where there is room for improvement.

The last day will be concluded with the Practitioner exam.

PRINCE2® Accredited trainer

The course will be given by an accredited PRINCE2® trainer. This will be a mix of (mainly) theory with practical assignments. Most exercises are done in groups.

PRINCE2® official exam

The participants can take a Foundation exam on the third afternoon and the Practitioner exam the fifth afternoon. One must pass the Foundation exam in order to take the PRINCE2® Practitioner exam.
