About the Exams

PRINCE2® Foundation Exam

• Duration 60 minutes (+ 25% extra time or 15 minutes for non-native English speakers)
• Closed-book exam
• 60 questions
• 33/60 or 55% required to pass 
• Online exam with remote supervision, take your exam at the date and time of your choice
• This exam voucher includes the digital version of the PRINCE2 Official Guidance (eBook). 

PRINCE2® Practitioner Exam

• Duration: 2 ½ hours (150 minutes) + 25% extra time for non-native English speakers
• Open book exam, official PRINCE2 Guidance/Manual only
• 68 questions
• 33/68 or 55% required to pass 
• Online exam with remote supervision, take your exam at the date and time of your choice

When you are ready to take your exam(s), you can use your exam vouchers and choose a date and time to take your exams online with remote proctoring. You will receive 2 separate exam vouchers for Foundation and Practitioner, allowing you to take the exams individually. Exam vouchers are valid for one year. Please note that you will need to carefully read the instructions provided by PeopleCert and install an Exam Shield on your PC before taking the exam.
