Prerequisites

• Integrating Hybrid Clouds Foundation Integrating Hybrid Clouds Foundation (IHCF)
• Previous knowledge of AWS and cloud computing concepts such as subscriptions, VPC, virtual machines (VMs), Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR), and network address translation (NAT)

• Deploying a Cloud Volumes ONTAP HA pair
• Performing failover and failback of the HA pair of nodes
• Connecting an SMB client from outside the VPC by using a transit gateway
