WORKBOOKS
- Classical : on a file server or the hard drive of a device.
- 365 : Personal OneDrive / Shared OneDrive / SharePoint-Teams.
Introduction
- Understand the Excel environment (purpose, specific vocabulary, …)
- Manipulate cells and spreadsheets (selections of adjacent or non-adjacent cells, how to rename, move, delete worksheets, …).
- Enter data (alphabetical, numerical, use of the fill handle, custom lists, …).
Choose the storage drive for your workbooks
- Classic: On a file server or a machine’s hard drive
- 365: OneDrive Personal / OneDrive Shared / SharePoint-Teams
Calculation
- Create formulas
- Use functions (autosum, average, root, round, …)
- Use absolute, relative and mixed references
Formatting
- Format tables (font, borders, alignment, number format, cell width and height, addition or deletion of rows and columns, automatic formatting).
Charts
- Creatie and edit charts
- When and how to use the new 2019 charts (map, funnel, waterfall, hierarchical)
Layout and printing
- Orientation, adjustment, header and footer, printing area, …
- Create a PDF document
Databases
- Properly structure a data table
- Use automatic sorts and filters
- Apply the Table tool
