Kubernetes CKAD Advanced [GKKUBCKADA]

OVERVIEW

Deze training is voor Developers/Programmeurs en DevOps Engineers die een verdiepingsslag willen maken op het gebied van Kubernetes.

Als je wilt werken vanuit het perspectief van Cloud-Native en bouwen om te draaien in en met Kubernetes is deze training voor jou. In de training wordt naast hands-on en wekende voorbeelden gekeken naar hoe om te gaan met Cloud-Native op het niveau van architectuur en heb bouwen van eigen architectuur, met het in acht nemen van:

• een cloud-native aanpak;
• veiligheid;
• toegang;
• volledige automatisering (devops);
• bestaande applicaties;
• applicatie keten monitoring;
• en bouwen op Kubernetes (operators);

Door in de training alles te doen op en met bare-metal Self Hosted clusters, leer je als deelnemer zaken in de kern. Daarna ben je beter uitgerust en in staat om te werken met willekeurig welke Kubernetes variant en zelf de in de training zelf uitgevoerde voorbeelden te vertalen naar willekeurig welke andere Kubernetes variant, zoals: Openshift, Tanzu, Rancer of Managed Hosting zoals GKE, AKS en EKS.

This training is for Developers/Programmers and DevOps Engineers who want to go further.

If you want to work from the perspective of Cloud-Native and build to run in and with Kubernetes this training is for you. In addition to hands-on and working examples, the training looks at how to deal with Cloud-Native at the level of architecture and build your own architecture, taking into account:

• a cloud-native approach
• safety
• access
• full automation (DevOps)
• existing applications
• application chain monitoring
• build on Kubernetes (operators);

By doing everything in the training on and with bare-metal Self Hosted clusters, you will learn things at their core. After that, you will be better equipped and able to work with any Kubernetes variant and translate the examples in the training itself to any other Kubernetes variant, such as Openshift, Tanzu, Rancer, or Managed Hosting such as GKE, AKS and EKS.

OBJECTIVES

• Het hands-on leren van Kubernetes en Cloud-Native principes in de basis en op bare-metal, aan de hand van werkende voorbeelden.
• De deelnemer beschikt na deze training de basis kennis om Kubernetes te gebruiken op zowel on-premise als managed hosting
• Op basis van deze training krijgt de deelnemer inzicht in Kubernetes en overzicht op het niveau van applicatie, microservice en ‘moderne applicatie architectuur’:
  - Zodat een deelnemer beter en op basis van inzicht (op algemeen niveau) zijn weg weet te vinden voor het bouwen van applicaties op, en het automatiseren van applicaties op, Kubernetes hosting;
  - Mede de keuze mogelijkheden verbonden aan de beschikbare technologie in het Cloud Native Landschap ten bate van het bouwen, beheren en automatiseren van de applicaties en de applicatie lifecycle;
  - Door voorbeelden en uitleg op het niveau van architectuur en best-practises in de basis een beter begrip krijgt van Cloud-Native en het bouwen van oplossingen naar een Cloud-Native ‘fylosofie’.

Op basis van werkende en uitgewerkte expert voorbeelden kan de deelnemer na de training beginnen met Kubernetes expert onderdelen in de eigen organisatie of het uitbouwen van oplossing op basis van verkregen voorbeelden.

The training objectives are:

• Hands-on learning of Kubernetes and Cloud-Native principles on bare metal, with working examples.
• After this training, the participant has the basic knowledge to use Kubernetes on both on-premise and managed-hosting.
• On the basis of this training the participant gets insight into Kubernetes and an overview at the level of application, microservice, and 'modern application architecture':
  - So that a participant knows his way around building applications on, and automating applications on, Kubernetes hosting better and on the basis of insight (at a general level); 
  - The choice of options related to the available technology in the Cloud Native Landscape for the benefit of building, managing, and automating the applications and the application lifecycle;
  - By explaning and showing with examples and best-practices, at an architectural level, creating a better understanding of Cloud-Native and how to build solutions with a Cloud-Native 'philosophy';

After the training based on working and elaborated expert examples the participant can start with Kubernetes expert parts in their own organization or building solutions, partly based on obtained examples in the exam.

• Het niveau instap niveau is: ervaren met de Kubernetes Fundamentals, op niveau van het CKAD curriculum.

Het aantal onderwerpen beschikbaar in de training als keuze modules zijn meer dan tijdens de training behandeld kunnen worden. Per training besluit de trainer in overleg met de groep op welke onderwerpen in de training behandeld worden. Soms kan dat betekenen dat de groep dag 2 besluit om:

• met verschillende onderdelen aan de slag te gaan
• of minder hand-on verder te gaan, op hoofdlijnen, zodat meer stof behandeld kan worden

• Eigen wordpress CRD/Operator/Controller bouwen (applicatie lifecycle automation)
